Unique Features

Black Wolf Vineyards and The Wolf's Lair Restaurant are co-located at the north end of the Yadkin Valley, North Carolina's first designated viticulture area.  The tasting room and restaurant are set atop the highest point on the vineyard grounds, with sweeping panoramas of the surrounding Piedmont foothills and the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains.  Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds, and visit a spring-fed well house and "secret garden," where you can look for a meteorite set into the stone wall that surrounds the garden.  You are invited to purchase an International Cheese Plate to accompany your bottle of Black Wolf wine, and find your own quiet retreat on the vineyard grounds for an afternoon or evening's enjoyment.

The Wolf's Lair welcomes you to an enchanting dining experience from the moment you are greeted by Chris Alderman or your host/hostess, seated in the dining room to enjoy featured American cuisine with a Continental flair from Chef Adam Williams and his staff.
