OUR 2011 SEASON HAS COME TO AN END
Our last day was Tuesday June 7, 2011. Thank you for your business!
We look forward to seeing you again in 2012. Please make sure we have your e-mail address (see below)

Country Road Strawberries opened May 4th  for our 2011 season, and U-Pick opened May 9th, and closed June 7th.  We frequently sold out of each days supply of berries, and we truly hate to turn away those who just dropped by hoping for a gallon or two. That is why we encourage everyone to call ahead to reserve your order, and to confirm that we are open and have berries available.  Thanks to our loyal customers who return year after year and to those new customers who recently discovered us.

Do we have your e-mail address?  If you have not already done so, please let us know your e-mail address, so we may notify you of our season opening.  And be assured, we do not sell, trade or barter the information you provide.  See below for E-mail contact information.
NOTE: Since we spend so much time in the fields, we do not check e-mails on a daily basis Therefore, we can not accept orders by e-mail.

Late Breaking News!

Country Road Strawberries 2011 Update - Our 2011 Season Has Ended
Our 2011 season is almost finished!. We always look forward to seeing our loyal return customers in the Spring, and welcome new customers who have found us via our website or word of mouth.  In spite of the rise in our costs, our prices are the same as last season, $7 per gallon for we-pick, $6 for you-pick (on days when fields are open for you to pick your own).  Please call ahead - 336.325.3331 - to confirm at we are open and that we have berries available, and for 'U-pick' customers to ensure the fields are open for picking that day.  This will save you a 'fruitless' trip if, due to the variations of Mother Nature, we have sold out our limited supply of berries to customers who called ahead to reserve their desired quantity. Please note that we are not able to accept orders via e-mail.

About Us and Our Strawberries

Country Road Strawberries is a family owned and operated small business proud of our efforts to grow and sell the finest strawberries in the Yadkin Valley.  Located on more than seven beautiful acres near the base of Pilot Mountain (one of the Piedmont's most notable landmarks), our clean berries are grown on plastic ground cover.  This keeps the berries clean and dry and much less prone to rot encountered at other strawberry farms that do not protect their berries from ground contact.  It also makes the berries easier to pick.  All our We-Pick berries are fresh the day you get them, not picked a day or two earlier and refrigerated like some other growers.  This ensures that your Country Road Strawberries are the freshest and sweetest berries possible.

Unique Features

Country Road Strawberries is a family owned and operated farm located near the northeast end of the Yadkin Valley, within North Carolina's first designated viticulture (wine growing) area.  We are just one mile south of Pilot Mountain knob, one of North Carolina's most recognized natural landmarks.  During the strawberry season, customers are invited to call ahead to ensure we are open, then come for the afternoon, pick your own berries or select from our fresh-picked strawberries (price per gallon is determined just before each season opening).  So bring a picnic lunch, enjoy a lovely afternoon in some of the prettiest country in the state, and take home some fresh Country Road Strawberries.
