Custom Scenic Wine Tours Update:   In addition to personalized winery tours for up to six people, we now offer car service that will pick you up at your home, lodging establishment or airport, take you to a restaurant or location of your choosing, and return you safely at the end of the evening. You are free to enjoy the entertainment of your choosing without having to worry about driving home. By appointment only. See below for rates.

About Us

  Custom Scenic Wine Tours is a family owned and operated small business proud of our efforts to promote your enjoyment of the Yadkin Valley.  The owner was born and raised in the Yadkin Valley, attended high school and college in Surry County. Working at several local wineries and vineyards as well as taking courses in viticulture and enology provides you an up-close and personal tour experience, not merely a driver who transports your group from winery to winery. 

Unique Features

  Custom Scenic Wine Tours offers winery tours in an air conditioned minivan, conducted by a Yadkin Valley native who has first-hand knowledge of the wineries and viticulture features of North Carolina's first designated American Viticulture Area. 

Rate Information

  Day Wine Tours:
  1 or 2 clients:  $175 total cost
  3 or 4 clients:  $325 total cost
  5 or 6 clients:  $450 total cost
  These rate includes wine tastings and an in depth tour of the Wineries and Vineyards.  3 to 4 wineries/vineyards are visited during the day's tour.  Tour departure time is 11:30a.m. from 271 Scenic Overlook Lane (just off US Hwy 52/future I-74 at the Pilot Mountain State Park exit ).  Other pickup locations by advance arrangements and may incur additional cost for travel time and mileage. Approximate return time to pickup location is 6p.m.

  Transportation Services:
  1 or 2 clients:  $35/hour total cost
  2 or 3 clients:  $45/hour total cost
  5 or 6 clients:  $55/hour total cost 

Payment/Other

  Cancellation Policy:  Reservations may be secured with your Visa or Mastercard, or via cash transactions. Sorry, no checks accepted, either personal or business. We have a 7 day cancellation policy for a full refund. If less than 7 days advance notice, a $175 cancellation fee will be assessed. There is no reduction to the tour fee if the start time is delayed due to the customer actions.
