Yadkin Valley Wine Festival - 2007
The 6th Annual Yadkin Valley Wine Festival, held on Saturday, May 19, 2006, was an unqualified success, exceeding all expectations. Between 10,000 and 12,000 visitors attended, including some 2,500 who sampled wines from twenty-three Yadkin Valley wineries, and enjoyed a day of music by local rockers Skipper's Wheel and beach music group The Catalinas.
