9th Annual Yadkin Valley Wine Festival

Come taste the wines of the Yadkin Valley! The Yadkin Valley Wine Festival
® is open to the public, including families with children (for your safety and the safety of others, please leave your pets at home). Craft vendor displays and music will take place adjacent to the wine tasting area. There will be a roving Bacchus and activities for the youngsters.
Entertainment for the 2010 Festival will commence with music by the Natty Boh Duo from
12 noon through 2p.m. Headliner band Mixed Emotions
will perform from 3p.m. until 6p.m. Between music there will be a grape stomp for the kids in attendance and some other special events.
Food and non-wine beverages will be available for purchase from selected vendors. Anyone tasting, purchasing or consuming wine
at the festival must be at least 21 years of age.
Additionally, to comply with North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement regulations, ANYONE tasting, purchasing or consuming wine will be required to show positive photographic identification and obtain a
tasting wristband (which includes a Yadkin Valley Wine Festival engraved wine
glass). Picnic tables are available for vendor-purchased food, there is plenty of lawn space for blankets, and bleacher seating is located in front of the bandstand. For insurance, health and safety reasons, pets are prohibited from the Festival grounds. No outside coolers may be brought into the Festival. For your convenience, you may purchase and check your wine (multiple bottle packs and cases) at our wine-check area and have it held securely until you are ready to leave the festival.
WIN A CASE OF WINE: Complete the entry form you receive at check-in
(including cell phone number you have at Festival) and drop off your entry at the Yadkin Valley Tourism Authority booth just inside the festival grounds from the main entrance. One entry card will be drawn every hour from 1p.m. until 5p.m. at the main stage, and five lucky entrants will each receive a full case of wine. Thanks to several Yadkin Valley wineries for their donations!
