Come taste the wines of the Yadkin Valley! The Yadkin Valley Wine Festival
® is open to the public, including families with children (for your safety and the safety of others, please leave your pets at home).
Food, Craft vendor displays and music will take place adjacent to the wine tasting area.
There will be a roving Bacchus and activities for the youngsters.

NEW STARTING IN 2015: A select number of VIP
tickets are available at a cost of $100 each. This includes your
tasting wristband and festival wineglass, plus VIP parking and
access to the Hospitality Tent.
NOTE: A festival wristband is required for anyone
buying or consuming festival alcohol at the Festival. If you are not possessing, tasting,
buying or consuming alcohol, admission is free.
ARMED FORCES APPRECIATION DAY - MILITARY DISCOUNT - $20 AT THE
GATE (WITH DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE ACTIVE DUTY OR RETIRED MILITARY ID CARD)

Entertainment for the 2016 Festival:
Taylor Vaden's Tribute to Elvis opens music from noon - 2pm. Headliner Phatt City plays
from 3 - 5pm. Between music
sets there will be a grape stomp for the kids in attendance and
other special events.
FESTIVAL PARKING AND SHUTTLE BUS
parking at Elkin Municipal Park costs $5 per vehicle, with proceeds
to the Elkin Volunteer Rescue Squad. Alternatively, shuttle bus
service will be provided between 10:30a.m and 6:00p.m. from
at a cost of $5 per
person, valid throughout the day. Please be aware of the no coolers
policy. Leave coolers in your vehicle or at the hotel.
FOOD AND NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL
BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. A wide selection of food and non-alcoholic beverages will be
provided by selected vendors. Picnic tables are available for vendor-purchased food.
There is plenty of lawn space for blankets, and bleacher seating is located in front of the bandstand. For insurance, health and safety reasons, pets are prohibited
on the Festival grounds. Tents and shade umbrellas are restricted to
the back of the seating area so as not to obstruct the view of other
FESTIVAL ALCOHOL POLICY: Anyone
possessing, tasting, purchasing or consuming festival alcohol must
be at least 21 years of age and be wearing a festival tasting
wristband. Wristbands are provided with paid admission and a check
of positive photo identification. No outside coolers
or outside alcohol may be brought into the Festival. For your convenience, you may purchase and check your wine (multiple bottle packs and cases) at our wine-check area and have it held securely until you are ready to leave the
WIN A CASE OF WINE: Complete the entry form you receive at check-in
(including cell phone number you have at the Festival) and drop off your entry at the Yadkin Valley Tourism Authority booth just inside the festival grounds from the main entrance. One entry card will be drawn hourly
throughout the day at the main stage, and lucky entrants will each
receive a "case of wine." Thanks to
the participating Yadkin Valley wineries for their donations!
