Come taste the wines of the Yadkin Valley! The Yadkin Valley Wine Festival
® is open to the public, including families with children (for your safety and the safety of others, please leave your pets at home).
Food, Craft vendor displays and music will take place adjacent to the wine tasting area.
There will be a roving Bacchus and activities for the youngsters.
FESTIVAL WEATHER FORECAST: Partly Cloudy, 80 degrees,
chance of afternoon showers (but 100% chance of wine!)
2018 FESTIVAL TICKET PRICES: $22 in advance, $30 at the gate.

RETURNING IN 2018: A select number of VIP
tickets are available at a cost of $102 each. This includes your
tasting wristband, festival wineglass, VIP parking, festival shirt and
access to the VIP/Hospitality Tent.
NOTE: A festival wristband is required for anyone
possessing, tasting,
buying or consuming festival alcohol at the Festival. Everyone
purchasing a tasting wristband must show POSITIVE PHOTO
IDENTIFICATION with proof of age. If you are not possessing, tasting,
buying or consuming alcohol, admission is free.
ARMED FORCES APPRECIATION DAY MILITARY DISCOUNT - $20
at the gate (with Department of Defense Active Duty or Retired
Military ID card)

Entertainment for the 2018 Festival:
The Legacy Motown Revue 12noon - 2pm; The Embers featuring Craig
Woolard 3pm -5pm. Between music
sets there will be a grape stomp for the kids in attendance and
other special events.
FESTIVAL PARKING AND SHUTTLE BUS
INFORMATION: Festival
parking at Elkin Municipal Park costs $5 per vehicle, with proceeds
to the Elkin Volunteer Rescue Squad. Alternatively, shuttle bus
service will be provided by Hometown River Company between 10:30a.m and 6:00p.m. from
participating hotels at a cost of $5 per
person, valid throughout the day. Please be aware of the no coolers.

FOOD AND NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL
BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. A wide selection of food and non-alcoholic beverages will be
provided by selected vendors. Picnic tables are available for vendor-purchased food.
There is plenty of lawn space for blankets, and bleacher seating is located in front of the bandstand. For insurance, health and safety reasons, pets are prohibited
on the Festival grounds. Tents and shade umbrellas are restricted to
the back of the seating area so as not to obstruct the view of other
patrons.
FESTIVAL ALCOHOL POLICY: Anyone
possessing, tasting, purchasing or consuming festival alcohol must
be at least 21 years of age and be wearing a festival tasting
wristband. Wristbands are provided with paid admission and a check
of POSITIVE PHOTO IDENTIFICATION. TO COMPLY WITH STATE LAW, NO
COOLERS OR OUTSIDE ALCOHOL may be brought into the Festival. For your convenience, you may purchase and check your wine (multiple bottle packs and cases) at our wine-check area and have it held securely until you are ready to leave the
Festival.
HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY: Due to
health and safety considerations, pets (other than service animals)
are NOT permitted in the festival area. Firearms and other weapons
are also NOT permitted in the festival area.
WIN SOME WINE!: Complete the entry form you receive at check-in
(including cell phone number you have at the Festival) and drop off your entry at the Yadkin Valley Tourism Authority booth just inside the festival grounds from the main entrance. One entry card will be drawn hourly
between noon and 4pm at the main stage, and lucky entrants will each
receive an assortment of Festival wines. Be sure to list your mobile
phone on the entry form. Thanks to
the participating Yadkin Valley wineries for their donations!
